Higher Education Faculty Survey aims to assess AI readiness, perceptions, and adoption among educators across India

Bangalore. In a nationwide initiative aimed at understanding how faculty members in schools and higher education institutions (HEIs) are engaging with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and preparing for an AI-enabled future across the country, QS I-GAUGE, the Indian education rating and assessment system, has announced the launch of the QS I-GAUGE AI Adoption Survey for Educators.
The survey seeks to capture educators’ perceptions, usage patterns and readiness regarding AI adoption in their professional roles. The findings are expected to provide valuable national-level insights into how educational institutions can responsibly, effectively, and ethically integrate AI into academic ecosystems, even as AI continues to reshape teaching, learning, assessment, research, and administrative functions.
“Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming education worldwide. Understanding how educators perceive and adopt AI is critical to shaping policies, training programmes, and institutional strategies that ensure meaningful and responsible integration of AI in education,” said Ravin Nair, Managing Director, QS I-GAUGE, while commenting on the importance of the survey.
The survey is open to faculty members from schools and higher education institutions across India. It is designed to be completed in approximately ten minutes. All responses will remain confidential and will be used solely for research and analysis purposes. The survey findings will help create a better understanding of the opportunities, challenges, and support systems required for successful AI integration in educational institutions.
Who Can Participate
Faculty members from schools across all educational boards and curricula (private aided, private unaided, international, trust-run, government aided), colleges, universities and other higher education institutions across India.
