New platform aims to help small shops move from traditional record-keeping to digital billing, inventory and payment management
Pune: As digital technology continues to become part of everyday business operations, small shops and micro businesses are also increasingly looking for simple ways to manage billing, inventory and customer payments without investing in complicated business software.
Addressing this need, Global Suntec Solutions has introduced a digital business management platform designed specifically for small and micro businesses. The platform brings several routine business activities—including billing, stock management, quotations, payment tracking and financial records—into a single system.

The initiative is aimed at businesses that traditionally rely on handwritten bills, notebooks, spreadsheets or multiple disconnected tools to maintain their daily records.
Bringing everyday business activities onto one platform
For many small retailers, maintaining accurate stock records and keeping track of sales and outstanding payments can become increasingly difficult as the business grows.
The new platform provides a digital workspace where shop owners can maintain their product and stock information, create sales invoices, prepare quotations and keep track of payments.
The system also supports features such as barcode-based product selection, quick product search, multiple payment options and UPI-based payments. Businesses can customize their shop information and billing documents according to their requirements.
The platform is designed with different types of small businesses in mind, allowing businesses to maintain their own products, categories and billing information rather than following a single fixed retail model.

Focus on practical digitalisation
One of the challenges faced by smaller businesses is that digital transformation solutions are often designed for larger organizations and can be difficult or expensive for a small shop to adopt.
Global Suntec Solutions says its approach is to keep the system simple enough for everyday use while providing features normally associated with more structured business software.
The platform includes inventory management, invoicing, quotation management and a finance ledger. It also supports UPI QR payments and different printing requirements, including PDF and dot-matrix printing.
Such tools can also help business owners maintain more organized records for their own financial and tax-related preparation. However, tax compliance and filing requirements remain the responsibility of each business and, where required, their tax or accounting professional.

Supporting the Digital India journey
The initiative comes at a time when digital payments and online business services are becoming increasingly common even among small local businesses.
For a retailer, moving from a handwritten notebook to a digital system does not necessarily require a large technology investment. A smartphone, computer or other internet-connected device can provide access to basic digital business management tools.
The company says the objective is to make this transition easier for small businesses by providing a straightforward platform covering some of their most common daily requirements.

Free access for early users
As part of its initiative to encourage small businesses to adopt digital tools, Global Suntec Solutions is currently making the platform available free of charge to early users.
Interested shop owners and small-business operators can create an account directly through the company’s registration page:

The registration process allows businesses to enter their shop information, business type, UPI details and WhatsApp number and begin setting up their digital workspace. The platform states that users receive 24/7 access along with features such as a shop workspace, customized shop branding, invoices, quotations, finance records and UPI QR support.
The company is also providing 24/7 support to help businesses get started with the digital platform.
For small businesses that are still maintaining their daily sales and stock records manually, initiatives such as this could provide a simple starting point for moving routine business operations into the digital environment.
